Bise DG Khan was composed under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Instruction (Dera Ghazi Khan) under Ordinance, 1989 (now canceled) out of Multan Board. Bise Dera Ghazi Khan Board is presently being administered under the Punjab Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1976.Dera Ghazi Khan abridged as DG Khan, is a city in the Punjab territory of Pakistan. It is the central station of the Dera Ghazi Khan District and was once in the centre point of the Dera Ghazi Khan Division while that level of government existed.

The BISE DG Khan was set up on fourth Jan (4^th January) 1989. Camp Office of Dera Ghazi Khan board began its operations in the Multan Board at that point, it was moved to Dera Ghazi Khan headquarter.
