How many pops is too much Stellaris? ›

Pops start to decline when a planet is 25% overcrowded. Planet capacity is capped at 500, regardless of free housing or unblocked districts. Pops can go over 500 and will not stop growing (or decline) until the required housing exceeds available housing by 15% (or 25%). species growth by −0.5%.

If your opponent's War Exhaustion reaches 100%, you may force a Status Quo surrender in 24 months. Alternatively, if your War Exhaustion reaches 100%, your opponent may force a Status Quo on you in 24 months.

First you claim some of his systems with claim option, then you declare war with "claim systems" reason. You have to capture every outpost/starbase and ! planetes in the afore claimed systems. After done that, push his war exhaustion to a limit, where your enemy will accept peace with giving you the claimed systems.

Interestingly, dividing 12.5 billion by 24 Pops gives a value of 1 Pop = 500 million people, which isn't actually that bad a metric either.

12 armies should be enough for a size 20 planet, but it's gonna be a while and you'll probably suffer casualties. I usually start with 20+ assault armies, with sizes increasing as the game goes on.

when you play as earth humans, you start with about 8 pops ( i think the starting pops were changed at least once, don't know the current number), so 1 pop should be about 1 billion people i guess. Maybe, but new colonies starting with a billion people doesn't make any kind of sense.

A large Empire with a very small fleet will get no Influence bonus at all from Power Projection, while a small Empire with a huge fleet will get the maximum bonus of +2 Influence per month.

Maximum Naval Capacity may never exceed 9999 but empires can still build over it as long as their economy supports the upkeep costs.
