Tuesday until the hour of service. A memorial fund is being established. Karl Sawadski Macomb, Illinois Formerly of Appleton Age 87, died 6:30 p.m. Saturday following a brief illness. He was born June 15, 1888 in German Colony, Russia, and came to the United States in 1923.

He was a member of the United Carpenters and Jointers. The survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Gerda Stumps, Appleton; two grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, three step great-greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1974; several brothers and sisters. The 1 funeral will be 2 p.m.

Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, Appleton, with the Rev. W. H. Gammelin officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

North St. Age 70, died unexpectedly at 1:10 p.m. Saturday. He was born January 21, 1906 in Berlin, Germany. He had come from Germany to Appleton in 1951 had been a senior accountant there.

Mr. Strehmel was with the Appleton Coated Paper Company until his retirement in 1966. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include his -wife, Gertrude Holz Strehmel; a daughter, Gerlinde Paulat, Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sons: John Kenosha; and Uwe with the U.S. Army serving in Germany; six grandchildren.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday from Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. W. H. Gammelin officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home from 6 until 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday after 10 a.m. at the church until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.

Evva Van Loan 2500 Wilson Appelton Age 79, died Sunday morning. She was born July 8, 1896 in Bear Creek, Wisconsin, and had been a Neenah resident about 40 years, and for the past four years had lived in Appleton. She had formerly owned and operated the Central Beauty Shop for 30 years in Neenah. She was a member of the First Untied Methodist Church, the Neenah Chapeter 53, OES. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs.

Robert E. (Mary Jane) Rabideau, Neenah; two sisters: Mrs. Isla Uvaas, Appleton; Mrs. James (Colla) Murphy, Three Lakes, Wisconsin; two brothers: Lester Jepson, Parker City, Leonard Jepson, London; a grandson, Robert Frank, Illinois. The complete funeral will be 11 a.m.

She had been a Neenah resident since 1936 and was a teacher for the Neenah school system for. 30 years. Mrs. Barr was State Teacher of the Year in 1971. A member of the First United Methodist Church, the Betty Rebekah Lodge, the past president of the Neenah Education Association, and was a life member of both the Wisconsin and National Education Associations.

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Thomas (Judith) Stolzman, Mrs. Doanld (Jolene) Bollerman, both of Neenah; Mrs. Daniel (Jill) Tischleder, Noblesville, a son, Gerald, Neenah; a sister, Mrs. Clifford (Norma) Christianson, Navarino; 11 grandchildren.

Her husband Wilson preceded her in death, December 4, 1975. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the First Untied Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald G. Stannard officiating.

He was born March 24, 1894 in Wahpeton, N.D. and had been an Appleton resident most of his life. He owned and operated the Blount Grocery Store on Wisconsin Appleton. The survivors include his wife, Clarinda Main Blount; three sons: Percy A. Blount Appleton; Thomas, Omaha, Nebraska; Glenn, Milwaukee; a brother, Howard, Oshkosh; sister, Mrs.

Floy Jones, Beaverton, Oregon; 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Taylor Blount in 1947. The complete funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wichmann Funeral Home with Dr. John E.

Harry John Broehm Stockbridge, Wis. (Formerly of Greenville) Age 81, died Saturday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, following a short illness. He was born June 3, 1894 in the Town of Brillion. His parents were the late Theodore and Catherine Wink Broehm. He married Emma Dunker on January 13, 1921 at High Cliff.

He was a retired dairy farmer and carpenter. Mr. Broehm was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ, Potter. Survivors include his wife, Emma; three daughters: Mrs. Herman (Dorothy) Route 2, Hilbert; Mrs.
